GRADUATION DAY FOR THOSE WHO PERSEVERED IN THEIR ENDEAVOUR TO BETTER THEMSELVES
Approximately 18 weeks ago, students enrolled for either a beading course, computer course or an entrepreneurial course.
On 1 December iThemba Craft & Skills Development Centre had a graduation ceremony for the above students who persevered.
Three students from the Beading Course, Twenty-One students from the Computer Course and Sixteen students from the Entrepreneurship Course came together to celebrate their successful graduating from these courses.
Similar to a race, it took perseverance and commitment from each person to be able to complete the race victoriously. Despite some challenges and set-backs, these students followed through and could celebrate their graduation with a great ceremony, including caps and gowns.
We were blessed with encouraging speeches, some beautiful songs, great food, fun, fellowship but most importantly, the students receiving their certificates.
It was amazing to experience the growth of these students during the 18 weeks that we got to know them.
We are so proud of them and believe that they will now be able to lift their heads high and enter the business world
